Nach dem Wochenende schrieb ein Journalist, dass ich mit den Ergebnissen noch kleine Chancen auf die WM in Russland habe. Jeder der mich darauf angesprochen hat, habe ich belächelt.
Heute morgen piepte mein Handy: "1 neue Mail von ..." Inhalt zusammengefasst: sofort Reisepass kopieren und per Fax zum DSV schicken, Visumantrag ausfüllen und per Post zum DSV schicken.
??? Wofür brauche ich denn ein Visum? Doch nicht für Italien. Im Kopf des Antrages stand "Biathlon WM" ... Ach du sch...  erstmal beim Trainer nachfragen. Heraus kam, dass ich der Ersatz vom Ersatz vom Ersatz und vielleicht davon noch mal der Ersatz bin ... juckt mich nicht die Bohne cool is there anyway. This gave me quite a while stress in the afternoon but now I'm sitting at home and did everything correctly sent off. Just great.

I can not believe it. At last I managed to sprint just to shoot, as in the singles and it was immediately rewarded with 1st place.
